hooping: i can hoop as long as i like to now, i can walk while hooping, i can turn in circles! 1/8th, 1/4, 1/2 turns, and full turns too. i can dance a little while hooping. hooping, as it turns out, is greatly meditative and goes well with stevie ray vaughn and nick drake and most of what i like to listen to. yay!

Yep! I'm particularly fond of Cello Song while hooping for some reason.

also... whoever you are... i thought i'd share this, i wrote it the day i made the post you replied to -- i had posted under a "friend's only" post, but maybe you'd appreciate it too:

i surround myself with dead poets
and their acoustic musings
spectrally strumming lovely melody
i dance and surround myself
with sunshine and drink in
the beauty of right now
trees swaying and blue sky
hips swaying and arms raised
i imagine these minstrels
in their spirit state
inviting them to share
this movement in sunlight
this moment of sunshine
let them feel through my my skin
the warmth of the day
in peace
absent of melancholy
empty as a buddha's dream
